PLEASE READ: BAKE SALE

Hi guys,

 

I just reviewed the sign up sheet for tomorrow's (and Tuesday's) bake sale and saw that the only people that signed up are me and Rob. Lots of time slots need to be covered. The following times are urgently needed to be staffed by one person:

 

1) Monday 2-4pm

2) Tuesday 12:30 -2 pm; 3-4pm

 

Furthermore, NO ONE besides me has agreed to bring any baked goods.

 

If no one can help me out besides Rob, I will be forced to cancel Tuesday's sale - and Monday's sale will have to be cut short.

 

Please help out guys. We need this money for the meet and greet!

Hi everyone,

I can figure out something to bake between now and tomorrow morning...unfortunately, I am in class from 2 to 5 tomorrow and I am at an externship from 9 to 5 Tuesday, so I can't help with the time slots.  Do we still have the coffee pot so that we can sell some coffee with the baked goods?  If not, it might not be worth it if it's only two of us are making anything...should we try to put it off until later in the week to generate some more interest?

Update: the guild will NOT be having a bake sale tomorrow. A number of factors, including the SBA scheduling the gender journal bake sale on the same day, a lack of folks available to sit at the table, and the untimely demise of my coffee pot this afternoon, have led me to postpone it until later this week.

Since no one was available today except Alissa and I to sit at the table, when is good for everyone to have this?

I'm sorry, but this week is just terrible for me. I had a death in the family, so I need to prepare for my brother to come stay with me for a little while. Also, I have a job interview tomorrow that would have made volunteering impossible.

Hi everyone,

I, too, unfortunately will not be available later in the week.  Wednesday I will be in class/working from 12:15 to 5, Thursday I will not be on campus and will be doing some work at VLP downtown, and Friday I have class until 12:30, at which point I will be leaving for Albany.

That said, if you need any more baking done, please let me know, as I can probably contribute some more on that end if need be.  Or, if we want to look into doing a bake sale next week, I would probably be more available to sit at a table then.
