to UBIRD, Bird Talk
On my way back from the trip last weekend to Washington Co. I thought to myself, "I don't think I've ever birded in Iron county." I stopped for some dinner and walked along the Lower Cedar Canyon trail/bike path thingy (similar to the Provo/Jordan river parkway) and added my first 15 birds to my Iron county list. When I got back home I tried to look around on some maps of the county to see where I might stop the next time I'm down there. I think Iron county is one of the counties with the fewest number of public known birding locations. There just aren't a lot of options for birding locations on ebird or the utahbirds website for Iron county. If you have a spot in Iron county where you have had any successful birding please email me. The next time I'm down that way I'll visit as many as I can and get location photos and directions and give them to Milt for the utahbirds.org site.
