Today's birds along the Oregon coastline

We'll hello there,

Been birding all over Lincoln City, Oregon today. The place we're staying at is right on the beach with mixed woods across the street... aka - heaven on earth.

The seabirds have been amazing to watch. I'm sure glad I brought my scope along. The most common species have been the scoters. Also, I didn't see one shorebird. I was hoping for oystercatchers, but I'm not complaining.

Good birding - and by good, I mean amazing!

Nice job on the Tufted Puffin!  It sounds like you saw every bird I'd said you see except for the Rufous hummingbirds.

Just got back from 25 days in Ecuador, including the Amazon, the cloud forest and 15 days in the Galapagos. I saw your oystercatchers in the Galapagos which surprised me.
