Ubiquity Command - Search Sport News at ESPN Brazil Web Site

Hello Everybody!

I made a new command to ubiquity 0.5, that searches news about sports/soccer teams at http://espn.com.br.

The command can be downloaded at:

Hey Jay,

I'm working on a ubiquity command to ESPN International(ESPN.com), because I like Hockey and ESPN Brazil don't write news about it!

I think that this new ubiquity command will be done about 2 weeks(I'm doing some tests at my Computer Scienci classes at this time, heheh).

If you have some ideas to this command, let me know!! =)

Hi Clauber,

Unfortunately my only background in programming is the one class on
Java I took sophomore year and the time I hacked the text based game
on my graphing calculator to make it easier to get gold.

It isn't just a matter of taking your script for ESPN.com.br and
replacing the relevent links with ESPN.com? I hope that didn't come
out as insulting, I'm still new to Ubiquity.

If you want to know how the script works, let us know!!! =D

And, about the script to ESPN.com, it will be the same base of the script for ESPN-Brazil, but i will get the RSS(XML) from ESPN.com and make some adjustments!!!

Absolutely, this is why I love open source. The command appears to be
working fine for me.

What's this? ESPN Brazil is all in Portuguese? Whatever shall I do? If
only there were an in-browser tool I could use to quickly and easily
translate the text...


Man this is a fun tool. I can't wait to see how it evolves.

I agree fully with you =D

Yes, ESPN-Brazil had its command all in Portuguese!!! About Brazilian Soccer League and other sports related in Brazil.
