Does someone have a mailing list of UU churches? Ministers? REs?

We could brew up a flyer, send out hard copies and PDFs this week.

Hi Jackie,
Just to follow up on the advertising done here in S.A., the Astronomy Weekend is advertised in the February issue of the FUUCSA newsletter, and Sheri and I
passed your Facebook link to at least two dozen church members, plus I also talked up the event to a few others at church that expressed an interest, and will
try to contact a few more directly.
George Clower has the announcement in the Corpus Christi newsletter this month as well, and I assume you are handling First Church Austin. It would be good to
make contact with the Houston churches as well as the smaller congregations within 150-200 miles of UBarU, such as San Marcos and New Braunfels. Of course the event
is open to the public so non-UUs are welcome too; maybe you could widen your Facebook net in Austin for that and we will do the same in San Antonio.

The SWUUC maintains a list of DREs.   It is  swuu...@lists.uua.org   However, as a non-member, you cannot post directly to it without approval of the list administrator.
The easiest way to post is to either ask Sheri Phillabaum post it or to ask Jennifer Nichols to post it.  Sheri is on the list and Jennifer is the administrator.

For the ministers, I expect that the SWUUC maintains a list for them as well.  Or the UUMA Chapter certainly does.  I don't know the protocol they have for postings to that list, though or whether postings from UBarU would be welcome. My guess is they would NOT be welcome and we should assemble our own list.

The best way I know to assemble our own list is from the SWUUC website.  If you go on the SWUUC website there is a directory of churches, and it has contact information there.

I've done this before when I was doing mailings as the SWUUC treasurer.  There are 75 congregations, so it's a project of a half a day or so to create or maintain the list.  I found it useful to cross-check the SWUUC info against the individual church websites.

Hope this helps.

Donna
