Team,
There is a group of rocket hobbyists who are using the UDB5 to get their rockets to fly straighter. One of them is planning on modifying the firmware to store options and parameters on the SD card in the OpenLog. It looks doable, because OpenLog supports both writing and reading of files.
Would it make any sense to port this feature back to MatrixPilot? It would enable setting of options and parameters with a simple editor.
Best regards,
Bill

Keep in mind there is now support for adding an SD-Card directly to the UBD SPI bus, along with a fairly decent filesystem library already built into MP. I had it working quite nicely with loading/saving parameters to an .ini file. Using it for logging still requires a little work, mostly to do with knowing when to start/stop keeping the log.

Hi,

Combining both solutions mentioned above would be very helpful. Any news on this?

Regards,
Kees
