Hi there,

I am in the lower mainland and VERY interested in a Vancouver or BC based user group.

I am mostly interested in heli both multi rotor and trad, but also anything else you can strap and autopilot to: planes, rovers, boats.

Any updates from anyone else in this part of the world?

Lets get some peeps together and represent!

Hey there. My name is Matt and I moved down in surrey 3 years ago and have a huge interest to get started in uav.

I have a friend that recycle metal and aluminium for living, so I can find all sort of goodies.

I am interested to build these this summer:

1 long range drone ( gas if possible )

1 explorer rover ( would prefer gas, I have a 33cc engine all ready. )

1 boat / sub (since they float, a cell phone or laptop battery should be great)

I also play around with other things: computer repair, learning solar panel and windmills, led lights, wireless security cam...

Also would be cool to start a website and gather a small community of people that could do from coding to mechanical arms.

A community center somewhere on the weekends, 2 days events once a month.

Anyone interested?
