The title says everything.

There's very few of us here right now. We don't need too many but, right now, we still need more. So, if you have more of our peers you are connected with, via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, whatever do invite them in.

If you need help what to say, direct them here: http://uopeoplesb.wordpress.com/2013/07/16/establishing-a-uopeople-acm-student-chapter/.

Thanks!

- Joan

On the issue of more members in this group.I was wondering whether we can request for a formal letter of introduction from the student services, and use it to invite more members. It will be convincing and student will be able to ascertain the credibility of what we are doing.

I considered that for a bit. But that opens have the possibility of having tons of people saying "I am interested" but really wouldn't get involved.

Do you really think it's a good idea?

It is worthy a try.The group loses nothing by someone saying,S/he is interested while S/he is not.Furthermore,it depends on whether you are a registered member by ACM or not.

We'll lose some because we'll get a lot of the chaff. We need strong members at this point.

Then again, maybe it's worth a try. After all, we need numbers, too.
