I have posted some of things I intend to do to reach more members and some of the milestones the group has to reach so that we can be able to attract more members.

It is not a complete plan though and will be coming up with more strategies. Some of the strategies listed have already be applied with little success and am exploring ways of using them in a more effective way.

Thank you for putting this in writing.  This is a good plan for the beginning the chapter.

I'm sure it will be tough to get the first few members as there is a fee.  I think that as the chapter grows and provides a benefit, there will be more enrollment.  Even if there are not many members, we can still be successful by raising funds for complimentary memberships for deserving students.  For instance, we can look at deans list students from developing countries and award a membership to them.  We can then post that as a success story.  Though it may take a while for us to get to that point.   :)

We can use UoPeople as an example of a good non profit endeavor.  They give us a free education and then solicit us for donations to help give others who can't afford to pay for tests.  We can use a similar model.  We solicit donors, and then provide a free membership to those who need it-- then solicit a donation from the members and from other prospects.

Just a thought.

All I can say is carry on, you are doing a wonderful job. The plan is quite detailed and touches almost every aspect and it is a good starting point. I think this plan will help us avoid disorder or repetitions like you mentioned and allow us manage our information well. I think information is a great tool to impact people.
