Theconsole app is being run by a scheduler and rerun about 8 minutes later, whereupon it failed with no output. Subsequent investigation revealed that the exe.config was missing. Restoring the missing file then allowed the app to run as expected. The initial run was done in the middle of the night and the rerun was manually triggered in the scheduling app so there's little chance of someone manually deleting the file. Also had this happen in test environments.

I have found the issue. It is with NLog indeed. When the file rolls over, it is meant to delete all but the last 12 rolled over files in our configuration. There is a bug however in that it tries to delete a lot than that - including the application exe itself. Luckily this fails as it is in use. I'll raise a bug with the nlog community on github

UPDATE: bug raised: Community has advised that the config is unsupported and a fix would be to reject it rather than exposing this unexpected behaviour. Will hopefully be fixed to avoid this issue for anyone else

If you have ever watched streams of professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players, you will know that they sometimes go into a game just by themself, to practice all kinds of stuff. Usually, this includes practicing grenades (we have made a nade config for this), spray patterns, grenade trajectories, and other stuff. They will often add bots to the game, and use various console commands, some of which require sv_cheats 1 to be enabled.

If you are unfamiliar with what a config file and autoexec is, you should start with our CS:GO config guide. This will explain how to make a config and autoexec cfg file for CS:GO and go more in-depth with how to use console commands.

If you just want to download a ready-to-use config file, we got you. The below config file will have all the commands you need + some additional keybinds. Just download it, put it in your config folder and type exec practice

To give you a better understanding of the commands in the config, we will now go through all the commands found in the config, plus some additional commands you might find useful if you want to create your own practice config.

Give you infinite ammo without needing to reload. If you want to practice recoil patterns, instead use sv_infinite_ammo 2, since this will give you infinite ammo, but with reload. The default value is 0.

If you are interested in what config files and autoexec files from professional CS:GO players look like, then check out our CS:GO Pro Settings list. Beside their config, you can also find out what gear they use and what in-game settings they use.

In this guide, we provided you with a complete config file that can be used to practice and train various things offline. This includes practicing grenade throws, smoke grenades, spray patterns, recoil control and much more.

In this guide, we will go through the most common and useful commands for practicing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. You can also just skip to the end of the tutorial, where you can download or copy the config and apply it to your local server. The most common thing people request is the commands for grenade trajectory, show impacts and bots. This config has it all plus additional commands. All you have to do is execute the script and start practicing! Use it to practice flashes, smoke throws, nades, molotovs, positions, angles, search for boosts, spray control, etc. We have also included some useful binds.

CS2 Config files execute any console commands contained within them, from key binds to visual settings and more. Using config files, you can fine-tune your settings according to your needs. For example, if you're looking to set up your CS2 binds to allow you to execute precise moves, including jump throws and crouch jumps, the best way to do this is by creating and loading a custom config file that will bind a key/keys of your choice to multiple commands at once, using an alias to create a reference to a group of commands.

If you create a config file named autoexec.cfg, this file should - as the name indicates - automatically execute whenever you launch CS2. For this reason, many people place the commands they wish to run every time they launch the game in a file called autoexec.cfg.

To set a config to execute automatically on game launch, right-click CS2 in your Steam Library and go to Properties -> General -> Launch Options. Then add +exec NAME.cfg (substituting NAME with your config file name) to the launch options.

You can bind executing a config file to a specific key using bind KEY exec NAME. Note that executing a config file doesn't automatically disable any settings changed by a previous config file, unless it overwrites it with new instructions.

The "action" can be any console command, including a movement command, a previously-defined alias that contains multiple commands, or even a config file. You can also bind an input to a series of actions by chaining them together with ;.

which performs +jump and -jump, one straight after the other, when you press the bound key. This is still functionally slightly different to bind v +jump, which performs -jump when you release the key, whereas with bind v "+jump;-jump" you don't need to release the key to send the -jump message.

Courtesy of T1ckbase on Reddit, this set of CS2 binds allows you to perform the "Michael Jackson peek". By binding your movement keys to both movement and controller commands to move in the other direction, your body moves but leaves your feet in the same place, which results in the Michael Jackson leaning effect.

Playing scrims, deathmatch and league games are great for improving. However, sometimes you might be better off going in solo or with only your team on a server to practice spray patterns, grenades and executes. This blog post will cover all of the commands you might need to do so, as well as provide you with a ready-to-go practice config that you can run on your server or CS:GO client.

We offer pay-as-you-go pricing (so you only need to pay for the time you actually practice) coupled with the markets easiest interface with one-click plugin installation. Read more about our CS:GO servers here.

Beginner players quite often face the problem when the CS2 config is repeatedly reset for inexplicable reasons when starting the game. In this case, setting up and using Autoexec will be of great help to you.

In this article, we are going to tell you how to save your settings to the config file, how to launch the game CFG of some other person, and also how you can reset game settings with the help of Autoexec.

CS2 developers provided a brilliant opportunity for players to customize almost all existing settings. Players regularly try different screen resolutions, making experiments with mouse sensitivity, crosshair, model position, HUD, binds, etc.

Autoexec will not only optimize the application with your settings but also get an opportunity to use the settings of someone else, e.g. pro-players or your friends. So, if you want to feel yourself with awp as s1mple, just download his Autoexec and upload it through the console. Over the course of time, you will be able to restore your previous setup as easily.

Rename it into autoexec.cfg and add the +exec autoexec.cfg command to the game launch options. Go to Steam gaming library, click with the right button of the mouse on CS2 and select Properties, then open the general tab and click the Set Launch Options button, enter +exec autoexec.cfg, and click OK.

Have you ever dreamed of playing with s1mple or ZywOo settings? To start with, you should download the config with a pro-player setup. Before proceeding to the below-mentioned steps, we advise you to save your personal autoexec beforehand, we have already told you how you can do this.

Like in real life, practicing makes your game perfect. Whether you're an experienced player or a newbie with a gun, a proper warm-up can mean the difference between a sweet victory and a brutal defeat in a game like CS2. To get the most out of your workouts, you can use various CS2 console commands to improve your gameplay.

Configuration setting, also called "config", is one of the essential parts of playing CS2. Using such settings, you can make the gameplay more convenient and enjoyable. Also, these settings improve practical skills, so it is worth taking responsibility when choosing configurations.

Every CS2 player who uses the config will customize them to their liking. These customizations are individual and depend on the player's preferences and perceptions, but you can use other gamers' configs to create variations.
