SquiresDuty works for two Armigers picking on one enemy target in either the shooting or fight phases. Both of their guns get +1S and -1AP against that thing, and also +1D if you are Honoured. A couple of Armigers could do really serious harm using this. So could Honoured Warglaives in melee, as it turns their sweep into a 2D attack.
There are also a couple of classics. Rotate Ion Shields gives a knight a 4++ against shooting. Valiant Last Stand is a standard fight on death ability in melee, counting as on one wound normally or full wounds if Honoured.
Looking at the Knights themselves, you have three chassis in the Index: the Armiger, Questoris and Dominus. All knights on the same Chassis have generally the same stats and many of the same weapons, but now their datasheet and Bonsman Abilities have slightly more to make them feel different.

As usual, I will go thru a quick the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly while waxing poetically about the big bad robots of the 40k Grimdark Universe. Overall I think the book is neat just. But not where I would like it to be when compared to the Chaos Knights. While we all know I have Chaos Knights I also have a large Imperial Knight army too. So I am still interested in both books and army make up.
On top of that customization you have a lot of household traits to choose from. All the Mechanicum houses, Imperial Houses, and even Freeblade houses have solid options. This is similar to the Chaos Knight version where you pick a powerful ability and lose out on a bespoked warlord trait/relic/stratagem versus the pre built ones. The Harlequin option of only being hit on a 4+ and ignoring Ap -1 seems the best for the Imperial side of things. The Mechanicus side of things has very interesting set up. They have a double mechanic for blast weapons that counts any enemy you shoot at as double the amount of models when determining how many auto attacks you get. The Freeblade options are also interesting as you have a Strategic reserve option that allows your knight to come in counting the turn as 1 higher. This could be pretty spicy for a surprise Knight friend in an Imperial army.
You have named houses there and I like Griffith for the assault minded player. The warlord can take an Advance and Charge warlord trait. As this household is an Imperial one you get +1 to Advance and Charge rolls as well as consolidating an extra Inch and ignore all modifiers on Advance and Charge rolls. This guy is going Full Tilt and you add in Land Strider Warlord trait you start to get a whole lot of extra Eldar inches as you come in for the kill. Imperial Knights do have some powerful Warlord traits and they shine a bit more when compared to the Chaos Knights.
This bookkeeping just feels annoying as you have 2 things to make sure you pay attention too. Plus all the other weird aura abilities you have to look out for your Armigers. This just makes for a weird experience as you can screw yourself over by moving to go get something or failing to charge.
There are no new models in this book so it kinda makes me sad. I would have loved to see some kind of super cool Green Knight character again as that is always an interesting batch of lore. Or heck a Psychic Knight or some real Chaplain looking knight that gets everyone riled up with the religious fervor of the Emperor.
Overall it is a neat book that extends a familiar faction. I am still planning on doing Chaos Knights for the next few events so will see if I pivot to the good guys at some point. It just means I need to get more Armigers ready. A LOT more armigers!
I thought it would be fun to make gaming miniatures of original illustrations, so I have extracted several knights, made their backsides and turned them into minis scaled to ca. 30mm gaming scale. The height of the knight himself was taken as a reference for scaling and original proportions were retained to keep the style of original artwork, which mean they are completely out of proportions by modern standards :), but I think that is part of their charm. The names on the tabs are identical with those in the Codex.
With the previews of Chaos Knights for Warhammer 40K up on the Warhammer Community site I am trying to avoid being over hyped. Ever since the Renegade Knights got an Index I have been itching to take my knights into full on Dark AdMech. But lets face it, the rules from the Index are pants.
The previewed Codex gives us a lot more of an idea of how an army of knights from the Dark AdMech will function. For starters they will be called Iconoclast Households, which reminds me of the Battlefleet Gothic Chaos escort class ships of the same name. The rules leaked so far indicate a more close up assault force and less stand off and shooting.
Lady Pavo, however, tended to avoid betraying particular signs of attachment to any of the knights. But, pressed by expectation to accept one of her suitors, she proposed a challenge. She said that she could only ever give her heart to the man who could bring her the Codex Veritatis.
Anthony gawks. He glances over his shoulder, as though he thinks the pigeon has meant to address some other tired commuter. But the platform is empty. Not a witness in sight. Anthony stares at the pigeon, and the pigeon stares back.

I've found variants on this theme around the net, but they are either incomplete, out of date, or outright wrong. I've recently decided to complete as much of the Codex as possible (because I have Nerd OCD and must unlock everything ). As I fill in the gaps on my Republic toons, I'll update the thread on a world by world basis from first to last visited. The intention is to point out entries with issues for the developers to take note of and so players need not waste their time hunting them down until they are fixed or removed.
This thread is only for Republic Codex Entries associated with specific planets. The Codex is huge and I'm not currently checking the Flashpoint, Ops, PVP or other non-world entries at this time (though I may eventually). I am also not directly dealing with Achievements associated with Codex entries, as there are other good threads already handling issues on that subject.
If a Codex entry IS listed below, it means I've done everything I can think of and followed all net suggestions trying to get it and it just isn't happening (this includes grouping with players of classes that can get the missions that lead to entries).
If you notice an error in the listings, speak up. I'm juggling 8 new toons through the lower level planets, plus numerous endgame toons working through the high level worlds. I'm bound to miss something.
NOTE: The Planetary Codex Tab shows one less entry possible than is actually attainable in game, so the Planetary Total is currently only 30/30. There are 31 working codex entries to find on Rishi for each class, however.
I am only missing Isotope-5. If you count the number of entries, there are 10 in this list. Therefore I have 9 entries, but my summary page for Makeb shows only 8/9. Any advice here? It appears one of these 9 entries is not counting in the total.
The only reason I re-subbed this time is I am recouping from 2nd left shoulder surgery (right shoulder surgery failed, not fixable). I needed a zero impact activity on arms, to waste time. I'm just slowly leveling up toons to watch the movies. When that is done I will let sub expire again, sooner if I get too bored.
When I read posts, comments are overwhelmingly negative. I am amazed this game(?) has lasted 10 years, but people still sub for some reason. I stated my reason above - it's not coz I like the game, it's a just cheap price to pay for something to waste time.
As the church of Stellinity would tell us, from time immemorial, there have always existed the Father and the Mother, though whether they are the same deity with two aspects or two separate beings (or three, more on that later) is matter that is still hotly contested by the high clergy. The Mother is represented in the earth, embodying the virtues of fertility, command of the homefront, and stability. The Father, meanwhile is represented by both the Sun and the Moon, delineating the duality of masculine passions from the fiery, the bravery, strength, and guardianship of the sun, to the sensible, the chastity, tenderness, and temperance of the moon. (Hence the debated notion of three deities)
The Mother and Father were perfect in their union, but wished to revel in their perfect love by sharing it with created beings. Out of their holy love was born humanity, the deific aspects personified in men and women. The Mother and Father, in their infinite wisdom, gave their creations free will, a necessary step for truly being able to choose love. And, for a time, all was perfect.
The Works in Progress forum is meant for topics that have a working demo already. You could have this moved to either Hobby Projects or Interest Check until you have a demo available, then move it back.
This definitely looks interesting. The only choicescript game I can think of where you play a templar like character was hexfinder, and that was more inquisitor than templar. Definitely looking forward for more
I can agree with your sentiment here. I was excited to make my MC a holy knight, but when I saw the tags it discouraged me to even check out the demo. However, if the change about which the author says might be implemented, then it might be worth of returning back to.
