ShanghaiTech University invite applications for tenure-track and tenured faculty positions at all ranks (Postdoc, Assistant, Associate, Full Professor) in Artificial Intelligence and related areas within the School of Information Science and Technology (SIST) and AI+X positions in other schools.

Research Areas

• Core AI Algorithms, including, but not limited to, areas such as machine learning and deep learning, generative models and foundation models, multimodal learning and reasoning, reinforcement learning and decision intelligence, computer vision, natural language processing, and embodied artificial intelligence.
• AI Systems, including, but not limited to, areas such as parallel and distributed computing, computer architecture, and compilers.
• Integration of AI in Science and Engineering, including, but not limited to, AI for science, AI for integrated circuits, energy, and communications.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or a closely related field  
• Strong research track record or demonstrated potential for impactful work  
• Commitment to excellence in research and teaching  
• Ability to teach and communicate in English (international environment)
