Dear colleagues,

We would like to remind you about the open call for papers for the Workshop on Causal Abstractions and Representations, hosted by UAI 2025 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on July 25, 2025.

We welcome submissions on topics including, but not limited to:

• Causal abstraction

• Causal representation learning

• Cluster and multivariate DAGs

• Multiscale causal systems

• Benchmarks and evaluation metrics

• Critical perspectives on the usability of causal abstraction and representation learning

Important Info:

• Deadline: May 26, 2025 (23:59 AoE)

• Format: Up to 8 pages (excluding references and supplementary material)

We particularly encourage submissions reporting original, unpublished, and ongoing research. All submissions will undergo double-blind peer review. Accepted papers will be presented as posters, with a subset selected for contributed talks. The workshop will not have formal proceedings.
