Dear colleagues,

The paper deadline for the 36th IEEE Workshop on Machine Learning for Signal Processing (MLSP 2026) has been extended to June 12, 2026. We are writing because MLSP has a long history of hosting work on probabilistic modeling, Bayesian inference, and uncertainty quantification, and we would like to see more of that work this year.

MLSP 2026 will be held in Atlanta, GA, USA, from September 28 to October 1, 2026. It is a small IEEE workshop, around 200 attendees, where talks lead to real discussion and where probabilistic and statistical methods sit comfortably next to deep learning.

Topics of interest to the UAI community include:
  • Probabilistic and Bayesian deep learning
  • Graphical models and structured prediction
  • Causal inference and causal representation learning
  • Uncertainty quantification, calibration, and conformal methods
  • Variational inference, MCMC, and approximate inference at scale
  • Probabilistic models for time series, signals, and multimodal data
  • Decision-making under uncertainty, including bandits and reinforcement learning

Applied tracks in healthcare, neuroscience, finance, and disaster response also welcome principled, uncertainty-aware methods.

Key datesPaper deadline (extended): June 12, 2026
Notification: July 31, 2026
Workshop: September 28 to October 1, 2026

Papers are six pages, with figures and references included. All accepted work will be indexed in IEEE Xplore.

Submit here: https://mlsp2026.org
Questions: pro...@mlsp2026.org

We hope to see your work in Atlanta.

Best regards,
Sergey Plis
