We are pleased to announce that the submission deadline for the 2nd International Conference on Neuro-Symbolic Systems (NeuS 2025) has been extended to February 28, 2025 (FIRM).

NeuS 2025 will be held from May 28-30, 2025, at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. The conference aims to bring together novel concepts, theories, and practices that can help in the development of the science and application of neuro-symbolic computing and systems. We invite submissions in the following categories:

1. New Research Papers: Papers that report new research in areas of interest to NeuS, particularly those that cross traditional area boundaries and address core neuro-symbolic themes.
2. Tutorial-style Papers: Papers that explain concepts from a subset of the sub-communities of NeuS in a form accessible to all areas served by NeuS.
3. Challenge Problem and Case Study Papers: Papers that describe challenge problems of interest to NeuS or describe industrial-scale case studies employing existing research results, software, or hardware.

All papers will be published in the Proceedings of Machine Learning Research (PMLR) series. Submissions can be up to 10 pages in length, excluding references and appendices, and should be in the PMLR format. Papers should be submitted through EasyChair: EasyChair Submission Link.

Additionally, DARPA will provide funding to the five most disruptive NeuS accepted research papers in the amount of $100K each. The purpose of these awards is to encourage submissions that have the potential to radically change conventional wisdom around AI, even if the methodology and experimental results are not mature. All funding is subject to DARPA approval.

Important Dates:
- Submissions due: February 28, 2025 (extended, FIRM)
- Notification: April 10, 2025
- Final version due: May 2, 2025
- Conference dates: May 28-30, 2025

For more information, please visit the NeuS 2025 Conference Website.

We look forward to receiving your submissions and seeing you at NeuS 2025!
