I am hiring a PhD student and a postdoc to work together with me at KTH on probabilistic machine learning. Both positions are fully funded and part of the Swedish AI research program called WASP.
Potential research topics: (i) uncertainty quantification in large-scale models (e.g., LLMs, VLMs) and agentic AI, (ii) scalable Bayesian active learning (e.g., for AI for Science), (iii) exact and approximate Bayesian inference with tractable models (e.g., probabilistic circuits).
You will join a newly formed research group at KTH (with a startup spirit), working on probabilistic machine learning. The group is embedded in an active research environment, focusing on various aspects of the reliability of machine learning and complex systems.
Jobs are at KTH in Stockholm, Sweden (within walking distance of the city centre).
Starting times are flexible. Deadline for both positions is December 19th!
