Dear Colleagues,

At KR 2026, we are organizing a one-day workshop to honor the life, work, and legacy of Joseph Y. Halpern.

As part of this tribute, we are compiling a collection of messages, photos, and short videos to present to his family as a gift. Whether you were a close collaborator, a student, a friend, or someone whose own research was inspired and shaped by Joe’s contributions to the field, we warmly invite you to share your memories and thoughts.

If you would like to contribute to this memorial gift, please submit your material using the following Google Form.

Guidelines for Submission

• Deadline: Please submit your memories by July 16th.
• Videos: If you choose to submit a video message, please record it in landscape (horizontal) mode and aim for a length of 30 to 60 seconds.
• File Sizes: The form accepts photos up to 100MB and videos up to 1GB. For larger files, please upload them to a cloud service (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox) and share the accessible link in the written message prompt on the form.
