Call for Special Session Proposals — IFSA–EUSFLAT 2027

Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to submit Special Session proposals for IFSA-EUSFLAT 2027, the Joint 22nd World Congress of the International Fuzzy Systems Association and the 15th Conference of the European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology, which will take place in Bari, Italy, on 13-17 September 2027.
Special Sessions provide an opportunity to bring together researchers working on focused topics within computational intelligence, fuzzy logic, fuzzy systems, soft computing, and related areas. We welcome proposals addressing emerging research directions, established research themes, and applications of current interest.
Proposals should include the session title and acronym; organizers’ names, affiliations, and contact details; a brief session description; key topics; a justification of timeliness and expected impact; a preliminary list of prospective contributors, if available; and short biographies of the organizers.
The indicative deadlines are:
- Special Session proposal submission: 15 October 2026
- Notification of Special Session acceptance: 15 November 2026
- Full paper submission: 14 February 2027
All papers submitted to approved Special Sessions will undergo the standard conference peer-review process and will be published under the same conditions as regular papers.
