Need a hand in deciding which Kayak to buy. I have my eye on 2 and
after quite a lot of research have come up with both kayaks for around
the same price in Dubai.
First up is the Malibu X-factor. I can buy this in a choice of colours
direct from the importer for 4200 but would still need to buy a seat.
I have a paddle, roofrack and wheels already.
My second option is the Ocean Kayaks Prowler 'Big Game' which I can
get for 4300 but again I would need a seat.
The Malibu seems a good choice as it has 2 good hatches and 4 rod
holders. The Prowler has a middle hatch that looks quite handy too.
I could also buy a 2 year old used xfactor with paddle, 2 seats, drift
chute, roof rack and hobie life jacket for 4500.
Out of interest anyone using the Malibu Kayaks Stealth 13?
As you can see i have too much choice - any advice appreciated.
Regards
Craig
There is only one type of fishing kayak that gets you to where the
fish are quick enough to catch them. Also it gives you the best in
trolling speed. The Evolution 465 or 430.
Importantly the adjustable foot pedal rudder steering means you can
control the direction of the kayak when you are pulling in a big fish,
specially when you in a choppy swell.
The Malibu & Ocean are Plastic roto moulded kayaks, which are slower
and heavier for their comparable length. Not easy to repair.
Fibreglass or carbon fibre kayaks are the ultimate in fishing kayaks
and many people that have bought plastic eventually give kayak fishing
or purchase a fibreglass or carbon fibre unit.
The Evolution 465 or 430 made by Stealth is the best fishing kayak on
the market and in the world today.

Your budget is not far off the price so contact me and we can work out
a deal for you and yes stocks are available. If you are serious about
catching fish then make the right choice first time or it ends up
costing more in the long run.
