University of Houston. Executive Director of Southwest Public Safety
Technology Center Department,Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Long
time Political Activist for Chinese civil rights, served as Chairman of the
Houston 80-20 Committee
- *Ms. Elaine Zhang*: Vice President of China Real Estate Group North
America Investment, Co. She also served as President of the Houston Chinese
Civic Center, Lawyer and long time advocate for Chinese civil rights.
- *Ms. Changlu Wu:*Internationally Recognized Musician and renowned
music educator,founder of the Changlu Wu School of Music; The first
musician in history to win the George Foreman International Musical Talent
Showcase with a Chinese musical instrument
- *Dr. Shan Zhong:* Senior Trader and Director at Saracen Energy, Class
of 2004 at Texas A&M.
- *Dr. Xingchu Liu:* President of Blacklocus, Home depot Innovation Lab,
TAMU CSSA president 2004, Nikita's close friend at A&M
- *Hong Dancers Group*: Chinese folk dancing group at Texas A&M,
performed many excellent shows in the past 10 years

郭恒基金会（Guo Foundation) 是由德州A&M校友于2015年5月在美国休斯敦成立的非盈利性公益组织。其原始基金主要由郭恒女士家人以及德州
A&M校友联合出资发起。基金会以”Support for Growth”
为愿景，搭建公益平台，专注于中国社区的文化宣传，职业发展及个人成长互助，设立奖学金以奖励学业成绩卓越，兼备领导才能，同时积极推动中国文化在美国发展和交流的优秀同学，帮助他们实现梦想。

德州A&M大学郭恒女士纪念奖学金（Texas A&M University Heng Nikata Guo Endowed Memorial

以下简称郭恒奖学金）属于校友纪念奖学金，是一种永久性奖学金，同时也是郭恒基金会成立后的第一个公益计划。在基金会的努力下，郭恒奖学金已经在德州A&M
大学注册成立，目前开放并接受社会各界捐赠。郭恒奖学金通过初始奖学基金的投资利息收益来不断颁发奖学金。郭恒奖学金计划初始总金额为$50,000,
每位获奖者颁发金额为$1,000/年至$2,000/年。根据基金会与德州A&M大学奖学金办公室的约定，每一学年德州A&M
大学从在校学生中选出符合奖学金评选标准的5-10名入围者，由德州A&M
大学郭恒奖学金评选委员会决定最后获奖者。为保证奖学金评选的公正透明，郭恒奖学金评选委员会由德州A&M大学奖学金办公室，各院系师生代表，以及德州A&M
大学国际办公室组成。郭恒基金会将不参与奖学金的具体评选和颁发，但是保留对奖学金评选结果监督质询的权力。

We have invited many IMPRESSIVE and INSPIRING speakers and will work with
them to provide an unforgettable experience for each of you.

The Guo Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Chinese
professionals in 2014 in the state of Texas. Inspired by Heng Nikita Guo,
the founders set the initial mission to establish Scholarships to award
leadership activities in the Chinese community and encourage endeavours to
promote Chinese culture at Texas A&M University. The Foundation also aims
to provide career development assistance and promote mutual support within
the community for Chinese professionals in the US.
This event in Houston is one of the major steps to reach the fund raising
target for the "Heng Nikita Guo ’06 Endowed Memorial Leadership Award". At
the same time, it will also be the inaugural event for the Guo Foundation.
We will have many leaders and active supporters from the Chinese community,
together with Aggie alumni and friends of the Guo Foundation in the Houston
area. While fundraising for the scholarship, discussions on the current
issues of the Chinese community in the US.
We are looking forward to meeting you at the "Guo China Scholarship
