Dear Students of the MSA,
I am writing to invite you to participate in a research study addressing emotional well-being and experiences of discrimination among Muslim American college students. This study will contribute to knowledge about Muslim American college students attending an undergraduate institution in the U.S., and help with developing culturally competent services for Muslim American college students.
I invite you to participate if you:
Enrolled as a student at a U.S. college or university
Between 18 and 25 years of age
Born outside of the U.S. and arrived to the U.S. by age 12, or born and raised in the U.S., with at least one parent who is an immigrant to the U.S.
Identify as Muslim
Your participation in this study will involve the completion of several questionnaires related to background information, your experiences with people within and outside of your family, and your well-being. These questionnaires can be completed online via Qualtrics, and should take you about 30 minutes to complete. At the end of your participation, you will be given the option to participate in a raffle for a $50 gift card to Amazon.com.
