Freshman Rep/Petition/Halaqa

Salam and Peace to All, 

Here is the weekly MSA update:

1. New Freshman representative: Everyone please help us welcome the new freshman rep Fatma Salama. For everyone else who applied, we encourage you to apply for a position in the next cycle. We appreciate your effort and hope to see you in more of our events.  

2. Sterne Prayer Room Hours: CAS Senator and MSA member Jenna Alkhatib is working with CAS Senator Renuka Srivastava to make a petition to extend the hours for the prayer room in Mervyn Sterne Library, details can be found in the link below

3. Thursday Halaqa: MSA will be having a short student led halaqa tomorrow, Thursday (9/27/18). It will be from 7:00pm-7:30pm, in EB 135. Leading the halaqa will be MSA member Jude Jaber. Light refreshments will be provided.  

4. Bake sale: Thursday's (9/27) bake sale in front of sterne library is cancelled due to weather conditions.
