In this role you will be a part of the Client Facing Technology team
within UBS bank.

You will develop modern user interfaces using Adobe/Apache Flex and
the latest web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JS).

Responsibilities:
. Developing modern user-interfaces for external clients and internal
users
. Being part of a high-performing team on business critical projects
. Collaborating closely with staff from different disciplines
(business, server-side, UX, QA)
. Mastering state-of-the-art technologies and a complex business
domain
. Providing advices and technical guidance for other team members
. Taking pride in the quality of software delivered.

Requirements .
- Knowledge of Adobe/Apache Flex and ActionScript
. Being up-to-date with modern web standards and open-source
technology, including: HTML5, CSS3, jQuery
. Familiarity with using Flex open-source frameworks, such as Parsley,
Swiz, RobotLegs, etc.
. Very good written and spoken English
. Experience in version control systems including Git
. Experience in building automation and continuous integration tools
. Very good communication skills and ability to work in the team

2) Как быстро оформляются дела с визами? Вот допустим, я прошел интервью. Когда я буду в Польше?

Андрей а можешь рассказать следующее:

1) Уровень оплаты в Польше. То есть, на какую сумму, примерно, может претендовать синьор девелопер?

2) Сколько стоит съем жилья в Кракове, продукты на неделю, какой средний счет в ресторане

3) Очень важный для меня пункт, хотя ты это конкретно можешь и не знать: как в Кракове с единоборствами? Найду я там хорошего тренера по борьбе или рукопашному бою?

4) На сколько з.п. приехавшего будет меньше, з.п. местного? 

5) Приняты - ли овертаймы?

Знову в червні 2014 року  є пару відкритих вакансій для Adobe Flex developers з різним рівнем знань в Кракові у нас в офісі банку UBS (Польща).

В перспективі перехід з Adobe Flex на Web frameworks, уже є перші напрацювання.

Project Description

Strategic platform for the Rates and Credit businesses, used internally by Fixed Income sales and by external institutional clients. The application incorporates efficient price distribution, execution, order management and trade retrieval of the following product types.

• Interest Rate Swaps
• Bonds
• Credit Default Swaps

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will develop rich user interface, integrating price distribution and execution capabilities delivered by server side components. The candidate will work with user experience group to integrate visual assets provided and ensure a consistent user experience is maintained.

Skills Required

Mandatory:

• Strong user interface development skills and web development experience across multiple technologies
• Significant experience with Flex 4 and Actionscript
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Experience with custom component creation and skinning, unit testing and application frameworks such as Parsley is desired
• Knowledge of HTML5 is desired but not essential
• Experience working with Git and Maven3 desirable
• Strong communication skills with fluent English
• Flash application development experience
