On December 3 will be available the next Mozilla Firefox 2-to-3 Major Update transition. Don't you remember what's that? This is a wizard that allows you to update your Mozilla Firefox 2 to 3 in a few steps. All you need is wait until that MU releases, have Firefox 2.0.0.18 and follow these instructions on that day. This may be the latest MU of the year.
Everybody who stills uses the Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.18 on an U3 Smart flash drive is encouraged to take this MU transition. Otherwise you will have to way until Mozilla releases the Mozilla Firefox 3.0.n executable/installer file for U3 Smart flash drives once and for all (I got feedback from Mr Kev Needham from Mozilla Corporation and I am still waiting for his reply). Check often nowadays this web page to be updated with the Firefox 2-to-3 MU final release date. Don't miss the opportunity to major-update your Firefox. :)
If you do not major-update your Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.18 you will just be able to update it to 2.0.0.19 in mid-December which probably be the latest Firefox 2's update (remember Firefox 2's security & stability updates will be supported until around mid-December).
I insist that someone from the U3 staff contacts somebody else from the Mozilla Corporation and ask (once more, again) for the Mozilla Firefox 3.0.n executable/installer file for U3 Smart flash drives (only a Mozilla's official build supports auto-updates).
