Why the U3 Software Central web site is linking to a non-official repository? (which does not exist any longer by the way :P)

At the U3 Software Central's "Mozilla Firefox for U3" web page you can read:
for latest version please also see www.u3applications.net but this URL redirects to this one, so what is this about? Besides, u3applications.net was not an official U3 web site. Why you were linking to a non-official web site when you used to be the very first to cry out saying that is not an official U3 repository? I don't get it. I explained how to get an updating Mozilla Firefox 3 for U3 Smart flash drives but it seems you removed it out...
