I have 8gb scan disk cruzer. When i insert it in the pc, u3 smart is
not at all launching. Pls help me. I tried many ways but i could'nt
fine any solution. Pls any body help me to solve my problem. I have
many important notes in that.

Hi, kavi!

Please, first tell me what you have done and did not work.
Did you go to: U3 icon on taskbar notification area > Settings > U3 Launchpad Settings > Autorun > Enable Autorun or Install Launcher buttons?

What Launchpad version do you have? Go to: U3 icon on taskbar notification area > Help and Support > About U3 Smart Drive. In that window you should read U3 Launchpad Version. Latest versión is 1.6.1.2. If you have an older version, go to: U3 icon on taskbar notification area > Settings > U3 Launchpad Settings > Automatic Updates > Check for updates.

If that does not work, try this method.

You should still be able to access the data you have stored on the drive, unless it's stored in a U3 app.
Try opening the U3 Launcher manually (double-clicking "LaunchU3.exe") and see if that opens the U3 Launchpad. Go to Settings and make sure it's set to automatically run.

I have (maybe, nearly) the same problem and tried everything a man can
try on this planet. But nothing helped, so i've bought another kind of
USB stick for replacement. After a month the Cruzer apperared in my hand
and i gave it a chance, put it into the hole. And now it works as in the
old days, without any known reason. The only thing i can imagine that
one of the Windows Updates (WU) corrected the problem caused by a
previous WU. BTW after the many experiments this was my suspicion that
the misterious problem is because of a WU and this is why i can't solve it.

So, get all of the possible WUs and try again. If it doesn't help, i
have no other clue.
