Hi,

How good is the protection of my data on my USB, if I password protect
it? Is there some way to read the data anyway? If there is no way to
read the data without the password, is there then any reason to
encrypt the data?

/Morten

Hi Morten ,

It depends on the USB you have (does it encrypt the data anyway and
only the controller can read it?)

I will also encrypt the data if I can. How big is the data you want to
encrypt?

Thanks. Very small file, it is just the file where I keep my
passwords. I don't think my USB encrypt the data itself, it is a very
cheap one. It was more the general questions - does the password
protection really protect the data (if you don't know the password)?

Assuming you are using U3 - it is good but if you want double
protection try this free offer as well : http://software.u3.com/Product_Details.aspx?ProductId=225

Thanks.
