Hi,
great playing and very good tones with GR5. Clean tone is a little too
hot to my ears.
Nice cover, keep on !

Agree.  Drive is great on chorus.  The clean tone is breaking up too much.  Either lower guitar volume or tweek volume in the verse preset.  Managing volume levels is one of the biggest headaches for U2 songs.  It takes time.

Tanks for feedback. The clean tone is much more "clean" if I use the
bridge pickup, but then its not as warm as i want it...

It's a Les Paul - just turn the volume down on the neck pickup.
There's no reason to have it as high.

Apart from that, and a bit of "stiffness" in your playing, pretty
good.

Tanks for feedback. I will try to turn the volume down on the neck
pickup, and see if it make some difference. The "stiffness" is
probably because I just have played guitar for 6 months

Is it just me or it sounded a bit out of tune on the "touch me" part...? Other than that, and the notes above, pretty good indeed...

I am agree with. The guitar is in tune, so it's maybe just me hitting
some wrong notes

Hey, you've only been playing 6 months? That's pretty impressive - I
wasn't picking on you for the stiffness thing - definitely something
that will go.

The "touch me" part tuning is 99% likely you pulling the strings out
of tune, or fretting too hard - very easy right in the middle of the
guitar where they're at their most stretchy! Again, something that you
will lose with practice and looseness - we've all been there!

Yes, I've been playing for only 6 months. I got totally addicted after
one concert with U2...
I think you have right that I bend strings/chords out of tune at the
"touch me" riff.
Didn't think that you was picking on me. Tank you for constructive
criticism.

:-)

Reminds me of a tenant (Phil) I had when I bought my first house, back in 1990.  He was into Danzig and all kinds of other heavy metal 'music', stuff I had never heard of.  It just so happened, the weekend he moved in I was going to see the ZooTV show in Toronto.  I had an extra ticket so I asked Phil if he wanted to go to the U2 concert.  Of course, his first question was..."who the hell is U2?"

Phil grew up in a small town and had never been to a concert before, let alone to Toronto.  Anyway, to make a long story short (I know, too late) his jaw dropped (as did mine) when he/we saw the ZooTV stage and he never closed his mouth for the entire show.  Within a week of the concert, I went looking for some of my U2 CD's and couldn't find them.  Turns out, Phil had them in his 5 disc CD player and they never left there for the entire two years he was in school.  He absolutely fell in love with U2 and their music!  It's all he listened to after that!  LOL

I have no idea!  Apparently four guys that claim they are the world's best band and have caused me to spend insane amounts of money and time invested in gear and cd's, not to mention money spent to see seven concerts to see if they were right!!
