Sure, you only need to assign a pedal to the effect block and switch
it off by default in the patch. When you then kick the pedal, you
switch off on effect (or a series) and switch on others. I use it all
the time to play U2 patches since you cannot switch from one patch to
another without loosing the delay trails. (so you need one patch with
all effects in their 'starting' position). What you cannot do is
assign 2 pedals to 1 effect. It would allow me to switch off a
specific effect during 1 transition and switch it back on in another
transition where other effects are added too.
