Hey Bees! Have nothing to do on Tuesday night? Why not come out to meet some Toronto beekeepers?
Spring is a busy time for beekeepers.
Are you planning on buying bees and equipment for the first time? Is this your first time checking your colonies in the spring? When do you unwrap your hives? Will you be feeding your bees? Is this your first time dealing with dead-outs and wondering what to do next? Perhaps you are one of the lucky ones and your bees made it through the winter and are just rocking. Should you make some splits? These are just some of the many challenges and questions beekeepers face each spring.
Join us as UTBA member James Murray shares his experience and spring management tips followed by a lively discussion and Q & A.
Please join us at 7pm Tuesday April 1st, ES4001 (Faculty of Forestry Building, 4th floor. Signs will be posted) Bancroft Street."
