Last year at competition our pilot who was a professional rc airplane
flyer recieved a deep cut on his finger while handling our engine
before one of our flights. Just today, while doing engine testing,
Brandon's finger was sliced by the propeller while it was running
which got him a brand new set of stitches from the hospital.

While the engines of our airplanes are on, it is impossible to see the
propeller from most angles because of the high RPMs. As you can see
this can be very dangerous and can even catch the best of us.

so, if you are ever doing anything with the engines:

- start them with the electric spinner or if its not charged then
flick it with a screw driver.

- Never flick it with your finger even tho this is a common way to
start engines among hobbiests.

- Never reach around the propeller. Instead move your body to the
other side of the testing stand.

Thanks for reading.
