Hi!

I installed tzpush and synched with my Hosted Exchange 2013 provider's server. Unfortunately it turns out that not all 1300 contacts but only 750 contacts got synched. Re-synching did not help.

Another problem is that now all email addresses in Thunderbird's e-mail field got duplicated, e.g. e-mails like
na...@domain.tld
now became
"na...@domain.tld" <na...@domain.tld>

Any help is welcome. Thanks in advance.

In what direction is the sync fail. From server to thunderbird or thunderbird to server?
Set extensions.tzpush.debugwbxml to 1 in Thunderbird config. Check error console for failure.

Where are you seeing "na...@domain.tld" <na...@domain.tld>? In address book or in auto complete when sending message.

Mark, thank you for the fast reply. Where can I actually control the synch direction?

I see "na...@domain.tld" <na...@domain.tld> for every e-mail address in the TB address book as well as auto-complete. I reimported my address book backup and it was definitely not there.

Will also enable debug.

Hmm, now I deleted all contacts, loaded the backup of my TB address book, deleted an empty entry, removed a few strange looking entries and re-synched. All contacts were now uploaded successfully and the "na...@domain.tld" <na...@domain.tld> does not appear so far.
What I see is however, that many contacts have the name stored in Outlook's "File As" field while the "Name" field is empty :-(

Ah, now I did a Resync All from the TZ Settings and now all e-mails in TB address book look like "na...@domain.tld" <na...@domain.tld> :-(
Looks like they got synched back from Exchange to TB (maybe Exchange had the latest version of the contacts after the initial synch?) and this introduced the problem back in TB.
