Regarding the eco-friendly house.
This thought was lingering in our mind since 2000. We visited many houses in Bangalore, Chennai, visited many other places in Germany, Austria, interacted with countless people through internet. Then in 2012 decided to walk the talk. Before building the house made a document called " 1_Prakruthi_Revised 120413 ". That document is attached here. We started building the house in 2013 Dec and completed in March 2014. Shifted to our house in April 2014 at Sulurpet, a small town close to Chennai, Tirupathi and Nellore.
After building the house there were some modifications done during construction stage. Hence a final document ( along with YouTube video links ) is prepared. This document is also attached. I have shared all these things with lakhs of people and also with PM Modi.
Apart from this we at home also believe in sustainable living and practicing growing fruits and vegetables in an area of 2400 SFT land. Practicing natural farming techniques like, live mulch, drip irrigation, zero budget Natural farming ( zero pesticide and germicide, No urea or any other manure ), but use Natueco technique ( Amrut Jal and Amrut mitti ). The yields are excellent. Planning to increase it to an Hectare. Looking out for suitable land at suitable price in and around our place.
Regarding expenses.
The house is built in 3000 sft land. It is Ground Floor ( Verandah, Kitchen, staircase room (for solar inverter, batteries, grid tied inverter ), drawing room, dining hall, bed room, dressing room, Toilet + bath room ), First Floor is also same except no stair case room, Second Floor only bedroom, dressing room, bath + Toilet. Total carpet area is around 3000 sft. It costed me about 45 Lakhs. Some details of 45 Lakhs are 4 CUM Anaerobic bio digester ( instead of septic tank ) costed 1L, 3KWp solar panel with 5 KW inverter, CC and battery costed 3.5L ( designed by myself and implemented by my son and self ), 3KW grid tied inverter ( 1 Lakh ), Solar cooker, solar water heater costed 40K. All outer walls are 9 inch rat trap walls ( 25% cheaper than normal walls ), south and west windows covered with creepers at a distance to block direct SUN, 4 X 4 ft cutout in the middle of the house for hot air elimination.
Let me know in case you need any further info.
thanks
regards
ram
