POT LUCK! / Zeitgeist Trilogy Screening

If you are interested in helping with the screening I plan on doing,
here is the info and what you can do:

Saturday, March 5th (two sats from now) I want to do a full screening
of all three movies, starting at noon.

12:00pm - 2:30pm: Zeitgeist
2:45pm - 5:00pm: Zeitgeist Addendum
5:30pm - 8:20pm: Zeitgeist Moving Forward

Artist In Residence 6165 N. Winthrop
Chicago, IL 60660
(super easy access from Red Line -Granville station-)

Since we are spanning from Lunch to Dinner, i want to co-hold this as
a pot-luck as well.

Since Im gunna do the whole sha-bang, I really want to get as much of
a turn out as I can. We can comfortably seat over 50 people... in
fact
it really comes down to the availability of chairs, not space... but
im not too worried about that.

I need help with the following:

1. Networking - There is a flyer (that I can't attach to this
discussion but I can email it to you or you can copy it from the news
page) post it on facebook/create your
own event page and invite people. Create Craigslist ads, anything you
can think of to bring as many people as possible by getting the word
out as far as possible.

2. Chairs - Fold-able and easy to transport being ideal.

3. Food/Drinks - Its a pot luck after all :) I plan on doing a big
pot
of my special Louisiana spicy spaghetti. :) This is a BYOB event, as
long as no one goes too crazy with it, haha.

4. Forward these details to anyone you know who might be interested
in
helping to organize.

It will be a gamble to arrange that day off for myself, but this
sounds like an awesome occasion, and I'll be happy to contribute, if
by no other means than spreading the word and inviting others.

Hey, guys, I'm new my name is Torry. It doesn't seem like we have many
events like this in Chicago so I'm gonna take off work so I don't miss
it. I'm just a young guy with few cooking skills to speak of but I can
possibly bring drinks. Any suggestions/request.

Hey Torry,

Bringing food/drink is totally voluntary, so don't worry about that. And actually sir, we have a good bit of events, and they are happening more and more often as we are expanding our membership. We've had 11 events in the last 12 months.

Hope you can make it out for the screenings. Don't forget about Zday 2011. Details to come soon.
