Had a really awesome time in the city Sunday with Donna and Matt doing the OPP!! We collected a number email addresses and watched some Culture in Decline.

Donna, big thanks for your hospitality and I really look forward to planning the next get together!!

So I imagine most people will be busy with the holidays coming up here, we probably won't have another get together in Chicago before the end of the year. If that's the case, shall we plan to meet up again in January some time?

Although...if there are any big holiday events in the city you guys are aware of, it might be a good time to reach a lot of people in a concentrated area, ya think?

Sounds great, Steve! Though, if you don't see anyone planning anything and you have some free time, definitely feel free to plan something and have others come to you! I live in Joliet but, I'm always excited to meet with new people so, I'd be happy to come to a gathering you set up!

OK jan 5, a saturday, 8pm at a bar innnnnnnn Napperville. I live in Aurora so its halfway.

I was planning on putting culture in decline on DVD, I know big whup. At this point its all I can do.

And that sounds good to me, I can be there at 8. Just hit us with an address for the place.

And putting CiD on a DVD would be great. Can you make it restively professional? I mean as far as putting a menu on there for people to choose what episode they want to watch and the like? I think CiD would be great to have to hand out people (especially the cynical ones)!

There was a guy in Aurora before who actually talked to two bar owners and they let us screen Z:Addendum right there on the bar televisions, is this a similar setup to what you're talking about? If it's a place you frequent, you might ask about advertising for the get together!

I'm happy Matt had such a great time! Did you guys end up watching that Joe Rogan interview? I bet he'd enjoy that interview a lot as well. And you did fine, Donna, lol. The work you're doing as far as building that new site and such is flippin fantastic so, forget about not talkin to people during OPP, you have your work cut out for you in other ways and it's great!

And that's what's wonderful about all this is that we all do the things we can...not the things we're told where we may be feeling forced or anything so, hell yeah, keep up the awesome work!

I wish I knew wwho you were referencing about the movie. I had a Ron Paul meetup, but I let it go, not any response after the fake election.

I went to a bar in Napperville last Feb. That was the last time I went out.

I will work on the DVD. I put a few together before so it should look like you described.

Find out who the Aurora folks are and let me know. Or send them my e-mail.

I have been quite interested in TZM for some time, and I  get restless as far as activism awareness and community and things of that nature.

How have things been? I'm back around now and am in school so I'll be in chicago a lot more often. Is anything going on locally with TZM.?

Heya, Jason! Good to hear from you and happy you're back in town! What school are you at now?

I don't know anything about Moving Forward being put on local television in Chicago. Did you, maybe, catch an episode of Anthony's Z-TV show? That, of course, shows on channel 21 and 19 up there...

Things are getting better here. I've ran into a few troubles lately in the personal life (car break down, new job, family...) but things are starting to smooth over now and I'm ready to get back to work on more TZM stuff!

I'm not sure of anything happening in Chicago specifically, I haven't been contacted by anyone up there at all aside from Anthony on the tv show so, your guess is as good as mine. People know the routes to take, or at least they should, if they want an event of some sort we have a facebook page, twitter, email newsletter, website. Believe me, if I know of anything I'll be helping get the word out! It's up to individuals out there to step up to the plate and host film screenings, meetings, OPP events, write articles, create videos, anything they can to help spread the concepts of TZM.

LaSalle County has had a number of events this year. In fact their latest was the Big Foot Band Camp which I'm just finishing up the latest news letter on that has Joe's recap of the event in.

The Quad-Cities chapter hosted a Zeitgeist Media Festival this year that I managed to go out to and meet with some really awesome people.

Here in Joliet I do OPP events about once a month and am working on my own radio show as well as hosting a physical meeting since I can't make the online meetings anymore because of work (Though, I still attend the online National meetings)

So, stuff is happening. Maybe not in Chicago (aside from the TV show) but, certainly in other places. I've gotten a number of emails from people in southern IL wanting to set up a local chapter as well so, we'll see how that turns out in the near future here. Hopefully soon someone will step up in the city there (Chicago) and start coordinating events.
