The new year fast approaches and I have embarked on an ambitious schedule for Southern Exposure students in 2012 with more classes to be added.

Randy Cain returns to do even more classes in 2012 than in 2011, I'm really lucky to be able to book him for this many classes as he is much in demand nationally for civilian, LEO and military classes.  Louis Awerbuck also returns in his May time slot, class to be determined.  I have also been able to book Kyle Lamb of Vikings Tactics to do his Carbine 1.5 class in April 27 - 29.  I'm sure you know Kyle does very few civilian classes as he is booked mostly by the military and police so I am quite lucky.  I will try once again to get Steve Tarani from our favorite Uncle to do a couple of classes and Bill Jeans will also return later in the year.

Please book your classes early as most are sold out by class time.   I am amazed that 96% of our classes are sold out by start time and I give credit to that to the caliber of instructors we bring in.

2011



Nov. 12 - 14  Tactical Handgun 101 The most popular class
we offer and the most repeated because it concerns the fundamentals of
shooting and tactics.  All students will be better shooter under the
diagnostic ability of Mr. Cain  I urge all serious students to repeat this class at least yearly. A night shoot is planned for this class. 3 days $475.00



Nov 19 & 20 Ladies Handgun    A two day class just for the ladies and many of them will leave the class shooting better than their mates. They will be taught how to safely handle the weapon and shoot it just in case the need arises.  The best part is the girls all have a lot of fun.  If you have a defensive handgun around the house you need to have your better half attend the class, perhaps an early Christmas present.  $375.00


Dec. 2 - 4  TACTICAL CARBINE  Many experienced shooters consider this
the best carbine class available as it really focuses on the
fundamentals.  Mr. Cain requires a high level of accuracy and competence
with the weapon. I recommend this class for all wishing to take the more
"advanced carbine" classes we offer.  A night shoot is planned for this class. $475.00 for three days.

Dec. 9 - 11  Intermediate Handgun  This is my favorite handgun class and is only available to those students who have had a minimum of one (more would be more beneficial) Tactical Handgun 101.  It is a shooters class with very little talking about positions, malfunctions, ect as you should now them by heart, expect to shoot 1500 or more rounds and still be held to Mr. Cain's high standard of accuracy.   SOLD OUT

Dec. 12 - 14 Tactical Handgun 101 Once again the most popular class

Dec. 16 - 18  Pat Rogers Carbine Operator class will close out our year again.  If you don't know about Pat and his carbine class you must live nuder a rock.   This class always sells out in a short period of time so please book early as last year I had over 20 students on the wait list that never took the class. Three days with Pat and you will shoot many rounds down range and be entertained.  $610.00

2012

Jan 20 - 22  CQT (Close Quarters Tactics)  Probably the most important class for shooters who have mastered the TH 101 and can hit the target.  It is a class at "bad breath" distance where most gunfights happen and at this distance you better have some other skills because just drawing and shooting may not fit into the time constraints. Footwork, defecting and misdirecting, adding distance and then the shooting skills come into play.  3 days for $495.00

Jan 23 - 25 Tactical Three Gun   This is not a competition class but a class that should be used two different ways, if the students has had a TH 101, Tactical Carbine and Tactical Shotgun from Mr. Cain it will be a tune up on all three.  The minimum prerequisite is any one of the three fundamental classes above and then it is a tune up for that one class and an introduction to those the student has not taken.  It is an easy way to find the advantage and disadvantages of each weapon system.  I am sure this will sell out rapidly so act fast.  Three days $495.00

Feb 17 - 19  Tactical Handgun 101  The first class all serious new shooters should take to ingrain the basics correctly!  This is the most popular class
we offer and the most repeated because it concerns the fundamentals of
shooting and tactics.  All students will be better shooter under the
diagnostic ability of Mr. Cain  I urge all serious students to repeat
this class a minimum of once a year. A night shoot is planned for this class. Three days  $495.00

Feb 20 - 22 Handgun 2  This is an advanced handgun class for those who meet the prerequisites (instructor approval).  It is fast paced and stress speed plus accuracy, you will be pushed to shoot faster than you think you can, yes it is advanced!  For only those who are ready.  Three days  $495.00

Mar 2 - 3 Tactical Handgun 101  Again this is the best class for learning the fundamentals of shooting.  $495.00 for three days.  SOLD OUT

Mar 16 - 18 Practical Rifle  Mr. Cain's favorite course and for good a reason as the premise is this will be the last rifle that our
government takes from us after the "black" rifles and "assault weapons".
You will learn how to fight with this weapon and keep up with those
using semi auto plus you will be shooting a major caliber.  If your also
a hunter you have that added benefit.  Three days $495.00

March 20 - 22 Tactical Handgun 101  The most popular class
we offer and the most repeated because it concerns the fundamentals of
shooting and tactics.  All students will be better shooter under the
diagnostic ability of Mr. Cain  I urge all serious students to repeat this class twice a year.  Three days $495.00

Mar 24 & 25  Ladies Handgun  This class is dedicated to
the ladies and will emphasize how they will probably have to fight. The class starts from the very beginning and progresses to complete mastery of the handgun.  The
feedback from the girls is excellent and many of them will be shooting
better than their men.    Two days $395.00


Apr 20 - 22 Intermediate Handgun  This class focuses on trigger control.  The prerequisite is a Tactical Handgun 101.  Expect to fire lots of rounds, in the last class we sent
over 1500 rounds down range and Randy requires his same high degree of
accuracy.  All who have taken this class enjoyed it and look forward to
a repeat.  Once you have mastered the basics of the draw stroke, turns and pivots, positions, malfunctions clearances, ect you are ready to spend three days on the trigger.  Repetition done correctly is the road to perfection.  Prerequisites.  Three days $495.00

Apr 23 - 25 Shotgun 1  This is my favorite all time class
offered. The shotgun is the ultimate home defense weapon in my opinion,
some prefer the AR platform with its 55 grain bullet, some a handgun
with its 230 grain bullet but I really like a one ounce slug. Like Mr.
Cain says those other caliber are made to make holes in people but
shotguns are made to take "chunks" out. After this class I am sure the shotgun will be your home defense weapon of choice too, such a simple tool! I have a few loaded around my house at all times. Three great days for $495.00

April 27 - 29  Viking Tactics – Kyle Lamb Carbine 1.5.  This is an outstanding more “advanced” carbine class (prerequisites needed) and this course is required for Kyle’s “Night Fighter” and “Street Fighter” classes. Many know of Kyle Lamb from his excellent book “Green Eyes and Black Rifle” considered by many to be the finest carbine  bible published today.  He is also an outstanding instructor of the new breed. Three days $600.00  Prerequisites.
