John McPhee (AKA "Shrek" in the book Kill
Bin Laden) is coming to Florida for a Pistol/Carbine
Course June 16-17. You can find more and sign up at
that link. Please read through the below and check all links
and then ask me any questions at all that you have.
The range is located here. The site is the Deep Lake Facility for Altair Training Solutions. I visited the site this past Saturday and I was very impressed with what I saw. it is an old road prison but they have done a ton of work and you wouldn't know it's history once you're inside. They have two ranges, a 200 yard and 120 yard. Please visit the links above to see pictures of the facility. Brian and Michelle, the owners, are both prior service and are great people and were very hospitable during our visit.
The site is not far from most of us. Distances are:

127 miles from West Palm Beach
87 miles from Ft. Lauderdale

14 miles from Everglades City

There are 12 rooms in the North Wing , each with a full-size bed, custom built furniture, and weapons & equipment storage. Room rates are $79.99 pp including all taxes/Fees/Etc. Price includes full use of kitchen and North wing area. Meals available: Breakfast: $10 pp; Lunch: $15 pp; Dinner $25 pp Meals can bemade on site, catered or we can simply stock the kitchen with specific food of choice.
