I'll be honest, I've been kind of lost on how credo master seems so amazing. So far, I've been using it with limited success, and I can't seem to find a good role for it in my decks. What have you guys found/do you guys think is the best way to use Credo master in a deck?

Credo Masters strength lies in it's rapid summon ability to bring durable credo defenders into battle field so as long you're able to rally them (not enfeeble! Because Credo Defenders don't have natural attack)

Because the field is pretty much going to be filled of your summons (providing that you have at least 2 Credo Masters or more), all positive mass effect skills like Rally All, Protect All and Heal all will just make your deck immortal

Remember that Credo Master needs support like Bridge of Destiny, Aquatic Epicenter, Acropolis and possibly Apollo
Despite Credo Masters have fairly strong and quick basic attack, Sycophants are going to Credo Masters so that is why I highly recommend to take some wall with you. BoD and Acropolis offers a lot but Shuddering Keep also fits here like a missing piece of puzzle. High HP wall keeps sycophants away, it weakens slowroll decks and helps your Credo Masters to finish the job. Oh, and Since Credo Master are armored and have powerful dalia proof Anti-Air, Credo Masters just own already slightly outdated Hoverpod decks

And then of course, having some intercept and Burst/Berserk in addition helps a lot... Pick Thunder Crag, Longshot (and apparition?)

In short, since you get your assaults as summon cards that have high HP and minor supporting abilities, you should pack as much mass external support as possible, no matter even if it's slow like Epicenter
Example deck (quite expensive and tough to collect:O)

E: Thread moved into correct category

I use a similar setup to the example, although I went with 2 epicenters instead of an acrop. For one, I like the on-play protect all to help ensure that my credos come online and start spawning. And for two, I use my acrop in my other surge deck. :) The piece I really want is Shuddering Keep to smack syco decks down even worse. As of right now I use Hope Mason so he can spam walls but I think the deck would do even better with either a Shuddering keep in tandem with Hope Mason or two Shuddering Keeps outright. The other difference is that I use two Ateliers instead of Longshot and Crag to push the assault unit advantage even further; not to mention that a rallied Pinion is fun to watch.
