[Lernaean Hydra on Fansite]

As I explain in a different post, I like XMb1Pb's Lernaean Hydra deck, and I used it to deal 500 damage in a raid. For the remaining 500 damage, I used a different deck. I tried to apply some of the ideas from that deck and I had some success. The simulator doesn't like the deck because it is difficult to simulate. I lost two games, but my ANP much better than XMb1Pb's deck: I was able to get 500 damage with less energy. Nevertheless, I didn't experiment with different cards at all, and there are major flaws in this version. I hope to work on it, and I welcome suggestions. I attached some simulator results.

This is the deck and the order I typically tried to play it in. I did mess with different card orders (sometimes on purpose and sometimes because of the cards I had in my hand), and I am not sure that this is the best order. First, it might be useful to play both Command Center as soon as possible. Second, unlike XMb1Pb's deck, it might be good to play Heracles in the first slot but only if Longshot is played on the next turn.

Other thoughts:

  1. Strike 2 from the Commander is annoying but not as bad as I thought it would be. Still, it causes problems, and this deck will not be a top-tier deck until it can deal with the Strike 2.
  2. Flurry is great, but I wasn't as impressed as I expected to be. On the other hand, there were a few games that Turbo Commander did 18 damage in one turn.
  3. I don't feel like Tribute was as strong as I wanted.
  4. Acropolis so Longshot can have Rally? Or maybe so I can use non-Raider Assault?
  5. Healing?
  6. Action cards?
  7. Fast Siege could kill some annoying walls, but I purposely picked cards that could deal damage even though the Commander has Protect All 1.
  8. Oh, Swipe is for clearing the board, Flurry is for killing the Commander, Longshot is for staying alive
  9. I don't think Iron Maiden would be useful: if the cards are activated, then they don't need Enfeeble 2 to kill anything.
  10. Some cards (that I own) on my short list of possible cards:

Screwing around:
Not working because I sometimes get flurried to death.

I think I either need to make the deck smaller so that it is more predictable or I need to make the deck more cohesive. A spam deck is cohesive and doesn't need to be small because the variation in the deck is small (because of multiple copies of the same card). Even strike decks with unique cards (Tiamat, Predictor, etc.) have low variability because Tiamat and Predator are largely fungible.

Next trying:

Not happy that Acropolis Wait-4, but the point is to prevent Flurry death. Maybe I should put Abominable Rakasha in. Actually, what I should do is drink more coffee, wake up, and build a real deck. But only two hours left on this raid. Oh well.

Hunterhogan invited me here, it's time to make my 1st post (please forgive me for the bad english I may use):

these days I'm working on a Hydra deck (Sveracles-flurry based) and that's what I got:

that are currently top 2 decks in Tyrant Fansite for ANP.
There is another variation that adds Slayer in 2nd place (after Kilgore) that loses something like 0,05 ANP, usually due the incapacity of the simulato to play only one of them 1st and the other after Heracles.
I'd like to ask you a little feedback (I'm not playing anymore, I only make deck entirely using simulator, I have no idea how it behaves) and I noticed that, as seen in lots of other Heracles decks, smaller is better but reduces ANP, can someone find a better balance?
Another thing is the use of Warehouse in place of Iron Maiden, that gives more winrate but loses ANP (Iron Maiden is always the best card to raise ANP), is there a way I can put it into the deck still manteining higher ANP?

Hope it's helpuf and that I didn't break any rule of this group (I didn't read all the rules).

Waiting my post for being approved, surprisingly Hover Pod adds both winrate and ANP, I guess that the deck should be able to heal Heracles - Look at Fansite for the deck
