[Basic stuff is in the noob thread.]
  1. Learn
    1. Moraku's [GUIDE] Awakening Skills
    2. wandomguy's brief explanation of Phobos skills
    3. Moraku's [GUIDE] Quests Battleground Effects
    4. Moraku's Reference guide on new Purity skills
  2. Deck construction
    1. Join the Fansite.
    2. Evaluate Decks simulator
      1. Download, install, and use it. Stop depending on other people to think for you.
      2. If you use RSS, then subscribe to the feed so you know when an update is available.
    3. Moraku's browser-based SimTyrant simulator
    4. Haileon card database and card filter. It is much more powerful than the Fansite, except that you cannot limit your search to cards you already own.
    5. Manual Raid Decks Spreadsheet With the rise of the Fansite, this has become less useful, but it sometimes has decks not on the Fansite and because it has a different layout, it can often give you a different perspective of successful raid decks.
  3. Do tasks in less time
    1. How to make the game run faster by removing animations
    2. How to open Tyrant without loading Kongregate. With some limitations, you can have multiple instances of Tyrant running. If you have more than one window open, however, it can screw up one or more of your battles, so take your time learning how this works or be prepared for frustration and headaches.
    3. Increase the speed of everything in Flash (including telling you that you have more Energy than you really have) (Thanks, Aszyre)
  4. Get the most from Raids
    1. Point scoring in faction wars (and raids). Learn it especially because it will help you spend less energy on raids. (It is horribly written, and if I had time, I would rewrite it; if someone in TnT wants to volunteer to make this comprehensible, that would be awesome.)
    2. Join the Fansite and use the Fansite to organize raids and track raids. (Even 100% private raids: once you start a completely private raid, immediately put it on the Fansite and immediately mark it as private. This will allow you and the other members of the raid to track the progress of the raid. You will be able to identify and correct problems before the raid fails; for example, one of the raid members might have an emergency and suddenly stops raiding--if you have the Fansite tool, you will catch this problem sooner and be able to fix it.)
    3. Use the tools from the Deck construction section above.
  5. Third party programs:
    1. A free, easy-to-use, and feature-rich timer to help you keep track of energy, stamina, tournaments, and other events, especially when you do not have Tyrant open.
    2. Screensnapr.com: a screen capture tool that allows you to easily share the images. It is free, relatively easy to use, but not always reliable. I am sure there is a better service, but I have not bothered to look for one. Suggestions are welcome.
    3. Camstudio is a free, very easy to use video capture tool. Use it to record battles so you can study them later, share them, or record bugs in the game.
    4. Microsoft Office OneNote. Usually not free, but if you own a copy of Office, you might already have it. Students can often get a free or very cheap copy of Office from their school. OneNote is generally an awesome program, but it is has two specific features that are great for Tyrant. First, you can easily organize your personal notes and thoughts about the game. Second, you can easily take screen shots and store them in OneNote along with your personal notes and thoughts.
  6. Before a new set is released, the cards are placed on the development server and you can view them. The server is usually empty.

If you want faster grinding, you might be interested in this browser "speed hack."

This is probably very useful for automation as well.

Added section called "Learn". This section needs to be expanded, so please do make suggestions. If something is too simplistic to be on this list, then maybe we should put it on the noob list.

  1. Excellent suggestion: added.
  2. Golden119: you are now a Manager
  3. Will someone please volunteer to take over the management of this thread?
    1. You would be a "Curator"
    2. As Curator, you could edit the original post directly
    3. The topic would be "assigned" to you, but assigning a topic doesn't add any powers, it just puts your name on the topic.
