Hello! I've been trying to replicate your demo of the Channel API,
but I keep running into errors when trying to have clients POST
messages to the server. They can connect fine and I get the initial
'connection' status, but the system keeps throwing
InvalidChannelClientIdError when I try to post. Any suggestions? I saw
something in the Google Code docs about the token needing to be no
longer than 64 characters.

Here's where I copied your code to run the demo: http://streaming671.appspot.com/

Thanks for the help! :)

Hi Jason,

If I remember correctly, I've already seen this type of error. Can you please help me to reproduce it? Have you downloaded the buildout release from google code or are you using a clone of the development trunk? On which platform are you running TyphoonAE?

By the way, thanks for giving it a try :)

Hi Jason,

I am so sorry! Actually I didn't realize the fact that you're trying
to run the Channel API demo on the productive Google App Engine on
appspot and *not* on TyphoonAE.

If this is the case, the reason why it doesn't work is very simple.
This demo is for development of TyphoonAE only and uses features which
aren't covered by the original Channel API like broadcasting.

However, feel free to post any questions on how to use TyphoonAE. As a
great demo for the original Channel API, I'd like to recommend the
Trivia Quiz I-O Demo. Visit http://io-trivia-quiz.appspot.com to see
it in action. The source code is here http://code.google.com/p/trivia-quiz/

Sorry again for the confusion!

and just to be clear, i was only using the code from the CHANNEL.PY &
CHANNEL.HTML samples you provided, not your entire stack. i'll check
it out, though.
