Hi, thanks for the preconfigured virtual machine images. Is there way
that you can easily setup up multiple images to work as a one cluster?
Or do you still need to manually setup Memcached and MongoDB yourself
to make it work over multiple VM images? The preconfigured VM seems to
be working fine, but it is still bound to one server instance if you
would deploy in EC2, right?

Hi Maarten,

Thank you for trying the VM images! Currently, we don't provide a
multi-node setup out of the box. Although, service backends like
memcached, MongoDB, RabbitMQ or ejabberd can be installed in a
distributed manner relatively easy. It's more or less all about
setting the right configuration parameters. In some cases apptool and
our appcfg service still lack support for changing these parameters in
a convenient way.

It might be interesting for you that I already started a tiny tutorial
on how to set up TyphoonAE on EC2 with Scalr. Since it doesn't use the
latest TyphoonAE release, it's a bit outdated, though.

However, I would like to help you getting everything in place. Feel
free to post your thoughts about your preferred setup and I'll see how
to get there and which changes are needed.

Best,
Tobias
