Fn+F4 do not work on a Macbook Pro (Ventura)

Hi,

I have my TypeMatrix keyboard connected to a Macbook Pro (Ventura). I have tried several times the Fn+F4 combination to make my TypeMatrix layout a bit more similar to the Mac keyboard but Fn+F4 does not switch what the start and alt keys do. Any ideas what is going on here?
