Copy/Paste not working on IntelliJ 50% of the time. Does "Insert" instead.

I'm so used to these buttons now,

that I'm constantly using them unconsciously.

It's very annoying.

I understand that these buttons are linked to a hotkey combination?

Is there any way to solve this issue?
