Windshield Sealant

Someone here, maybe it was Max, inquired about recommendations for a
sealant to fix water leaks around a windshield. Well, I was stumbling around
some of the junk stashed in my garage this morning and came across an
empty tube of such a product. It's US made, so likely to be somewhat easy to
find. Here's the description:

Essex U-418 Quick Cure primerless to Auto Glass Urethane Adhesive

You might be correct. That tube might have been one I saved after our
Taurus windshield was punched by a tree limb. I watched the guy replace it.
Interesting process. They use a LOT of that glue!

The best advice would be to contact an auto glass shop and ask what they
recommend. They must still occasionally do rubber seal windows....
