As I left Eau Clair it was raining. Once I got to freeway speed, water started coming around the windshield seal. As I was washing the car the other day I saw that water was getting through between the seal and the glass. It may also be getting past the seal on the body side. Don't know. But the water turned nice warm defrost air into steam-bath air. No bueno.
It's a relatively fresh seal so still somewhat pliable. And I really don't want to remove the windshield if I can help it. It was a bear to get in. My thought is this. Some sort of sealant with a thin applicator to inject sealant between the seal and the glass on the outside to keep water from getting in there at all.
Thoughts?
