Hello everyone,

We have a "special topics" meeting tomorrow on ABTs, theory and implementation. I will be having a discussion with Jon Sterling on the topic and it'd be valuable to get everyone's contributions on questions to ask and topics to discuss.

The current plan is to divide the hour long block into two pieces:

1. Discussion of implementation of ABTs, what makes that valuable and interesting
2. Discussion of new research and advanced topics in ABTs

but there is room for more vital questions on the topic to be broached as well.

I've set up a Hackpad for tomorrow's meeting and welcome contributors to provide questions to ask and answer during the session. Please feel free to contribute there to influence what we discuss. I'm also interested again in any volunteer note-takers so that more information can be preserved for later use.

So, please take a look at the Hackpad, contribute questions or comments on the meeting plan, and then join us tomorrow at 4:30 pm EST (9:30 pm GMT). I'll send out the "official" invite to the group in a moment.

See you all tomorrow,

Joseph

Our Google Groups header info is now out of date (the stuff about "Next Meeting," etc.).

For live communication, should still use IRC this time or will e.g. comments be enabled on Google Hangouts?

I think IRC performed better last time. The comments on Google Hangouts were there, but somewhat asynchronous and so it was harder to have a good conversation.

Thanks Gary, I've fixed it now

Joseph,

Could you send me and Darin an invite to the hangout please? Darin may show up, but no guarantees.

Best,
Jon
