I'm not so sure. I had previously downloaded a 1.3.0.0 tarball and it too had #define PRODUCTION commented. This PKGBUILD worked back then because it just downloaded the binaries (which are properly compiled) and moved them around to the right locations, but once it began using the source with I assume 1.3.0.1 this happened.
Fixed, thanks. According to ( _tools/packaging_guide.txt) I have to uncomment that line. That's a very recent addition and a really not good way of doing things. I hope that they can use a proper build system in the future.
It appears that even though upstream commit bb43045 supposedly fixed this issue, in cube.h on line 68 #define PRODUCTION remains commented, which causes the master server browser to break because it attempts to connect to the master server for the Git version. This should be fixed with a sed in the PKGBUILD until upstream fixes it properly.
I added armv7h in arch list and changed binaries to be named native_client/server. I'm keeping the _srcdir because it's my standard way of packaging and usually source archives are supposed to have a sub folder. That one is just badly packaged in its archive. Previous versions had a sub folder.
Hi. I haven`t tried assault cube. I suppose it would need gl drivers, and be recompiled for it to run in 1080p without a hitch.
I am slowly gathering info on gaming on the rk3399 on Linux. I thought about it to open a threat here for that. Now I don`t need to anymore
It should be very able, but we need the right persons for that to do some work.
I can say that DosBox works great, so thousands of games there. With RetroArch the 8-bit and 16-bit consoles run perfect. No good N64, playstation, psp... Here again we need drivers and cores made for the RK3399.
Many of the Linux games work ok, but they all need optimization. You can even play most on the Odroid C2, a lot better than now on the RK3399. That`s a lot less poweful board, but better optimized games.
If the Odroid N1 would have been sold, then the situation would have been a lot better. They`ve got Meveric who does an amazing job optimizing games for the Odroids. If he would do that for the RK3399...
On Android you can play playstation and n64, and many more games that run perfect. But I`m allergic to Android.
If anyone has more info on what works well, and how to improve things. Please all share it here.
I've got this too when I do sudo glrun supertuxkart
But "glrun supertuxkart" starts, but badly as shown before.
-------
It's a problem with extremetuxracer. It's installed but doesn't run, so not glrun.
@mindee I tried FriendlyDesktop 20190308 and it also doesn't work.
First boot I had the same output as with armbian with glmark2 and es2gears. After reboot those didn't work anymore. Don't know what happened. I just updated, installed supertuxkart and extremetuxracer and manually changed keyboard settings(ain't no app for that?)
I rebooted so my keyboard settings would be right.
After reboot I get this
Normally the media script should provide the EGL/OpenGL ES proprietary libraries as substitutes for mesa EGL/OpenGL ES implementation, so once you install the media script you won't be bothered with updates anymore. This at least happens with the media script for RK3288, which I am happily using.
The output now shows that gl4es wrapper and mali drivers are being used. Now, since it is just a wrapper, it's possible that some functions are not implemented, or do not exist at all in the GLES 2 API.
I get the error GL/gl.h: No such file or directory
I did install the dev libraries.
I've searched for it, it should be in libgstreamer-plugins-base1.0-dev and mesa-common-dev. I've just received 3 x 32GB eMMC modules for the M4(gotten from a viewer ), so I've got to reinstall anyway. I installed them, that broke dpkg. (I didn't expect anything else)
I'll start again without the script and see what the standard drivers can do, and I'll try to find out what everything does. I know nothing of this, but I can learn.
Thanks for the support
Cubes are obtained from Lost Sectors, finishing all lost sectors will at least give enough mats to level 2 every possible cube, the rest are obtained through Union shop. Union shop currency is obtained via union raids and placement. 10 Batteries are worth 2000 union chips. There are 3 cubes that will get used more often that others. Resilience, Bastion, and Wingman. These cubes give reload speed, ammo refund and ammo capacity respectively. The other cubes are pretty much situational and/or for stat purposes.
In Solo raid, batteries can be obtained by attempting and successfully beating the raid boss. Batteries depend on the level of the raid boss defeated. the maximum amount of batteries that can be obtained is 6x per day, and is randomized.
A situational cube used by units such as Alice, Snow white, and even Rapunzel. Since Alice has high charge speed when you have high skill investments on her, and even more with Overloaded gear with charge speed rolls, every charge speed towards 100% counts. getting 100% charge speed on Alice is convenient as Alice is able to have full charge on frame 1 when she is able to fire, increasing her damage ceiling if the User can play her optimally; this can be the clutch for her if needed, otherwise User can use Resilience cube on Alice instead.
Snow white Benefits from this if using her alongside with Liter and/or Novel, as the user is unable to fully charge her burst to 1000% in under 5s, any longer than 5s and the buffs of Liter and Novel will expire. In other words, using adjutant cube for Snow white enables her to squeeze some extra charge % in her burst before said buffs expire.
Putting this on Rapunzel slightly increases her healing output, although Putting Resilience on her will fare better for her.
It is possible. My Alice has a 100% charge speed with 2 OL gear giving 7% charge speed in total, skill level 10 4 10, and maxwell support with skill level 10 4 10. Let me just say its a pleasure to hit over 1 million piercing damage with fast shooting trick.
Thanks for this guide.
Recently were released into the game new cubes, so we need update this analysis.
The endurance cube increases the DEF, so it might be good only on PVP
The healing cube increases HP pontency. It might be good on units who skills scale in HP and in few situations where heal is needed.
To be fair, actually use in PVP most the adjutant and resilience cubes

I don't think it's a problem with intel driver 2.7.1, as I'm using the intel-legacy driver and since the update of intel-dri the same thing is happening to me: when switching compositing on or off X crashes (FYI the command succeeds, so after an X restart the selected option works fine).
I'm on KDEmod4 and a 945gm.
EDIT: It's not a problem with the kernel too, as I'm using an older 2.6.29.1 kernel.
you may also need to downgrade mesa, libgl to former versions. I also had some graphics problems related to the recent upgrade, for example shuting down information disappeared. Downgrade mesa, libgl, intel-dri, and xf86-video-intel to former version seems fix it. But I really don't know why.
Thanks leeyee, I had noticed some problem after the update (using assaultcube), downgraded and now it's working fine. I've noticed that the 7.4.1 packages include a 7.4-branch.patch and 7.4.2 packages don't include this patch. Perhaps this is the source of the problems.
Don't know if this is related, but after not so long full system upgrade, when i try to change external monitor resolution X'es crashes. I still can move my mouse, but thats all.
My internal laptop display works flawlessly.
I downgraded to:
I am experiencing similar X crashes with system build of yesterday (therefore latest kernel and libgl, mesa and intel-dri).
The two weeks old system build I had before gave me the same crashes.
I get dropped to shell when X crashes since I don't have any login manager. When dropped to shell i can start X again although i sometimes get dropped back to shell immediately.
The crashes appear regardless of wether I use xorg.conf (not modified) or xf86-input-evdev.
Hardware is Intel GM45 chipset with Intel X4500HD.
gnome-settings-daemon:5914: GStreamer plugin cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
window manager warning: Failed to read saved session file /some/file/... Failed to open file. No such file or directory.
Nautilus .... also complaining about a file or directory not found
I will check my hardware today but since Windows is running fine right now I assume it is a driver issue.
I will also try downgrading even further, maybe reinstall Xorg and reconfigure and tweak the xorg.conf but any hints on what I could do to solve the problem would be greatly appreciated.
However, I just installed many programs i used to use in Gnome (+ gnome dependencies of course) and the problem occurred again. I would assume it's gnome-specific but since one of the previous posters has that problem with KDE i really don't know what's causing this. Starting without hal and dbus didn't help either.
I will stick with Openbox now and remove all gnome dependencies.
