Prayer Requests

Rob brought a great lesson on The Prodigal Son. We are taking a break from Luke for a little while and Nathan is going to be preaching to us on Missions starting next Sunday. 

Please pray over the following requests throughout this week. Also, please read over all of the announcements below, very busy time of year :)

Prayer Requests:

- Scott Family: Stratton is having an MRI on his brain tomorrow morning. Pray that

                       everything looks good.

- Sara Lain: Pray for Meredith and Kerianne, they are traveling to Granbury next weekend for a

                  race.

- Pray for the new children's minister, Brandon and his wife Carrie.

- Katy: Please continue to pray for the Hanner family. Macey's daughter Sadie is having

           digestive issues, pray that they all get resolved. Praise that Hunter is making progress.

- Blake & Chelsea: Chelsea is pregnant and due at the end of May.

- Toogood's: Pray for patience for Brian with work issues. Pray for his partner, Dr. Sivley. He is

            having health issues and getting tests done to determine what the problem is.

- Etter's: Pray for Mitchell's mom and sister. Pray for his sister as she is trying to decide if she

             should move. Pray for guidance for his family.

- Adam's: Pray for them as they might get another foster child soon. 

Announcements:

- Fall Family Fun Night: This Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 6pm. For all of you who signed up to help, don't forget to come at your assigned time :)

- Books, bottoms, and brunch: Sunday, Nov. 9th for Katherine Rinard. Bring a book for big sister Lauren, diapers for the baby, and a brunch item for the class.

- Mom Life: Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 6:15pm.

- Sunday School Thanksgiving Social: We are doing a Thanksgiving Potluck on Friday, Nov. 21 at 6:30pm at the Toogood's house. There is child care available at the church, sign up online at pdbc.org. More information to come.

- Church-wide Thanksgiving Dinner: Sunday, Nov. 23.

- Women's Christmas Dinner: Tuesday, Dec. 9th. Let Katy or Allison know if you can come. Cost is $20/person.

- Sunday School Christmas Social: Sunday, Dec. 9th. More information to come.

Good Evening class,
    Hope the start of your week has been good.  I just wanted to send a quick reminder about if you have an opportunity in the day tomorrow or Wednesday Pam and Jennifer are in need of people helping to decorate for the Fall Family Fun Night.  She will have childcare if needed is my understanding, but you might let her know.  Thank you to those who have signed up to help with the class booth and who are able to help decorate.  Hope y'all have a great rest of the week.

Just wanted to say hello strangers! I am so sorry it has been a while! And looks like I will not see you all on a sunday until November 15th. Keri and I will be running in the SPARTAN race this Sunday morning (Its also Nate's Bday so give him some love on Sunday --- 31 years old!), and next Sunday I am visiting family (please pray for my sweet momma (LORETHIA) - she is having to take care of my grandma who has had surgery on arteries near her brain- they were 95% clogged. My grandma's about to face some tough descisions and my mom is feeling a little alone with it all. Her sisters are trying to help out as best they can, but momma is the most stable and patient right now. Right now...:) I am going to go to her rescue so to speak- next weekend, and NATE is going to see the MONKs (not the MONKEES) that weekend too!

 

I just wanted you all to know that you are all LOVED and missed! Except for you BRIAN TOOGOOD! hahaha! TOTALLY kidding! You are awesome and you get to gas me again on the13th! I am still looking forward to it!!!

 

I am looking forward to a social so we can all visit! I miss my friends! I love yall very much!
