As much love as this entry received when it came out for its story and characters, and it's still often considered one of the best games released on that entire generation of consoles, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City pushed open-world games in a whole new direction. In keeping with series tradition, which continues to be the case, this title was jam-packed with cheats that can completely change how the game is played. This game has far more than any other in the recently released trilogy, making it ripe for revisiting to see what crazy antics you can cause. Enabling cheats in the Bedrock edition isn't much different than in Java. This works on PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox. The "Pocket" versions on iPhone, iPad, and Android also have similar steps.

If you haven't generated your world with cheats enabled, or you want to enable cheats on an existing world, you need to open the game menu, choose 'Open to LAN', then toggle 'Allow Cheats' to on. Click 'Start LAN World' to properly enable you to enter Minecraft commands and cheats. Do note that you'll have to follow these steps to enable cheats every time you log back into that Minecraft world, as the cheats won't stay enabled after you stop playing.
If you're playing Bedrock Edition using a keyboard, you enter Minecraft commands and cheats much in the same way as Java Edition. When you're in a world with cheats enabled, press '/' to bring up the chat menu already with a slash in the text box. Now type in your command and press enter to run it.
If you've already started a game and want to enable cheats, you can do this from the Settings menu, although you must be the creator of the world you're in. With Settings open, scroll down to the 'Game' menu and then scroll down to 'Activate Cheats'. You can turn this on to enable cheats or off to disable them, but be aware that disabling cheats will not re-enable achievements for that world.

Most commands require the executor have a high enough permission level. That means most commands are available in the singleplayer world only if cheats are enabled, and available in multiplayer server only if the player is an operator. See permission level for details.
In Bedrock Edition, cheats can be toggled at any time in the "Game" tab of the settings menu. Enabling cheats in a world permanently prevents players from unlocking achievements in that world, even if cheats are later turned off.
Keeping with the copy world thing, if you want to locate mansions, villages, ocean monuments or any structure in the game, copy your survival world, turn on cheats in the copy world and set it to creative if you want to be able to fly, type in the /locate command followed by what structure you are looking for, so for example if you're looking for a village, type in /locate village, it will tell you where the village is in coordinates like this 'nearest village is at `1422 32 150' write down the coordinates and simply navigate to them in your main world. The 32 or whatever elevation is not important unless you're looking for a stronghold, which are always located underground.
It's still cheating, which is fine if you're happy doing that. Just personally prefer a challenge in games. Minecraft isn't exactly a difficult game, especially compared to other survival games like Ark, subnautica, long dark, etc. Games become very dull when they're too easy and you use cheats.
I think these things are oversights rather than cheats. I use the 'sudden switch to peaceful then back again' one if I witch throws a potion at me and I have no milk on me, I wait out the effects of the poison then switch back to normal.
I dont get why you would do that when there is the danger a creeper could blow up behind you while your farting about in menu's. Just move away from her, or kill her. Mobs aren't that tough in minecraft. You'd have to be either very unlucky or afk to get killed in minecraft. Why would you even need to cheat?
I'm creating a Minecraft map that I want players to not have permissions to use cheats so they cant use the setblock command and set blocks as air and break the map. Is there any way I can turn off cheats after creating the world with cheats on? (to get command blocks)
You can do this a easier way, create a world with no cheats and then open the world to LAN and enable cheats, this will activate cheats as long as the world is open with cheats. Then simply close the world and there will be no cheats enabled.
If you have a current world that was created with cheats then create a brand new world without cheats, then duplicate the previous world and use the world.dat folder to replace the brand new worlds world.dat folder and this will make it so there are no cheats, then use the trick listed above to enable cheats in the new world.
Minecraft itself confirms this, "Allow cheats" is separate from "Game rules" in the world creation menu. The game says it's not cheating to pick the gamerules you enjoy. You can freely modify gamerules without enabling cheats...
I have deployed ITZG Minecraft server java edition. It runs fine and does what I want it to. But even after adding ALLOW_CHEATS: true to the env, it does not add cheats to the game. Also is the same for flight.
Note: If your world has cheats disabled, enabling cheats here will enable cheats for you. However, disabling cheats on a cheats-enabled world only affects other players who join, not you.
